Conewago gives to Curvin’s Bags

Curvin Coxen, 10 years old, is on a mission to help collect back packs, duffle bags and small suitcases for children in foster care. After hearing a church sermon on giving back, and learning about children that are forced to leave their homes carrying all their belongings in garbage bags; Curvin was inspired.

Curvin has collected and donated 100 bags to the York County Children and Youth Services to help children in tough times of their lives. Curvin also includes a pair of crazy socks in the bags to brighten and bring joy to their lives.

Curvin’s mission is not over yet, he is on a mission to collect 100 more bags for one of the neighboring counties, which is how Conewago came to discover Curvin’s story.

Conewago was inspired by the humble and kind-hearted young man, and decided to donate 20 bags to his mission with the addition of a $500 check written to Curvin to purchase bags he would like to give the children himself.
