Conewago Enterprises Charitable Foundation Announces 2014 Scholarship Winners


Foundation offers scholarships to local students pursuing college degrees in construction-related fields


HANOVER, PA – Conewago Enterprises Charitable Foundation (CECF) recently announced the recipients of their 2014 scholarships. The four-year scholarships are awarded to graduating high school seniors from Adams and western York Counties and are distributed based on scholastic performance, overall character and financial need.

Three students received scholarships in 2014:

Sabrina Ankney, a graduate of Spring Grove High School, will be attending York College and majoring in Business Administration with a minor in Accounting.

Connor Smith, a graduate of Gettysburg High School, will be attending Penn State University and majoring in Architectural Engineering.

Dylan Sharrah, a graduate of Biglerville High School, will be attending Penn State University and majoring in Civil/Structural Engineering.

To date, the foundation has awarded $300,000 in four-year scholarships to a total of 15 students from Adams County and western York County.

“The team at Conewago makes it a priority to encourage students with an interest in math and science to consider a career in the field of construction.
