Administrative Assistant Part-time

Conewago is currently seeking a full-time Benefits Administrator. Applicant must have 3-5 years’ experience and working knowledge of the following:

  • Administers the company’s benefits program to include: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life and AD&D, Short Term Disability, and Long term Disability insurances and Flexible Spending Accounts
  • Working knowledge of self-funding and stop-loss platforms
  • Manage the enrollment, renewal and distribution process through an on-line portal program (Benefit Mall)
  • Have knowledge of benefit contract language
  • Recommends changes to benefits packages with management
  • Have an understanding of compliance requirements and federal and state regulations pertaining to programs like FMLA, ADA, COBRA, and Medicare
  • Ensuring company is compliant with state and federal laws

Additional duties and skills include:

  • Knowledge of performing insurance reconcilements
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organization skills and the ability to multi-task
  • Applicant must be detailed oriented, precise and a self-starter
  • Safeguarding confidential information while being discrete with handling sensitive information
  • Track attendance for employees through on-line portal program (Best HR Cloud)
